Day 1: Tirana – Theth – Shkodër
Journey to Theth & Natural Wonders
We begin by heading north from Tirana into the Albanian Alps toward Theth, a remote village known for its dramatic scenery and untouched nature. Once there, we’ll explore two of its most iconic sites. A scenic hike leads to the Blue Eye of Theth, a crystal-clear spring with vibrant turquoise water surrounded by lush greenery. We’ll also visit Grunas Waterfall, where mountain waters cascade into a refreshing natural pool.
Continue to Shkodër & City Exploration
After Theth, we continue to Shkodër, one of Albania’s most historic cities. Enjoy a relaxed walking tour through the lively Pedonale and charming streets, experiencing its unique mix of culture, history, and daily life.

Day 2: Shkodër – Durrës – Berat
Journey South & Optional Coastal Stop
We depart Shkodër and head south. An optional stop in Durrës offers seaside charm along the Adriatic. Enjoy fresh seafood, a walk along the promenade, and visit the ancient Durrës Amphitheatre. In warmer months, there’s time for a swim.
Berat: UNESCO Heritage
Continue to Berat, the “City of a Thousand Windows.” Explore Berat Castle, still inhabited today, and visit the Onufri Iconographic Museum, home to masterpieces by the famous icon painter Onufri.

Day 3: Berat – Riviera – Sarandë
Llogara Pass & Coastal Beauty
Travel through Llogara Pass, offering panoramic views of the Ionian coast. Pass through Dhërmi, known for its beaches, nightlife, and traditional stone houses.
Himara & Porto Palermo
Continue to Himarë with its seaside promenade and historic charm. Visit Porto Palermo Castle, then head to Sarandë, famous for its beaches, cuisine, and vibrant atmosphere.

Day 4: Sarandë – Blue Eye – Gjirokastër – Tirana
Gjirokastër: The Stone City
Travel to Gjirokastër, known for its Ottoman-era stone houses and timeless charm. Explore the historic bazaar, visit Gjirokastër Castle, and step inside a traditional house to experience life of the past.
Return to Tirana
After the visit, we return to Tirana, ending a journey through Albania’s natural wonders, history, and culture.
