If you’re thinking about visiting this restaurant DO IT!! The view and the food was absolutely fantastic and we were soooo well taken care of! The manager was super nice and and took well care of us! As well as the waiter Andrea! She was amazing such a wonderful person. She really topped our expectations! They have everything from pasta and meat to sushi and pizza! I really recommend this place!!🥰
What a find from a sea of places to eat we came across the Vela Marine. Eric the server/greeter when walking by just said hello good morning and now 3 days in a row we are here for breakfast. The Albanian breakfast and a late perfectly cooked and seasoned. Fresh eggs with tomato, cheese sausage and bread. Eric our server for all 3 days has been great and very welcoming, who speaks great English. The late is great as well. We look forward to dining here the next couple days until we part from this beautiful sanctuary.
Vela Marine has become one of our favorite spots in Sarandë. The food is consistently excellent, but what really stands out is the service. Eri and Ledio are amazing—always smiling, incredibly hardworking, and genuinely kind. They make you feel welcome every single time. We’ve been there multiple times (even just for coffee), and the experience is always just as good. That kind of consistency is rare. Highly, highly recommended!
Gracias Ledio!! An absolute gem by the sea. This restaurant sits right along the waterfront with breathtaking views that make the whole experience feel special from the moment you arrive. The setting alone is worth it, but the food takes it to another level. Their menu is incredibly diverse, with a strong focus on coastal cuisine, think fresh fish, risottos, and pastas, all beautifully prepared. We actually came in craving sushi, and it did not disappoint. The fish was incredibly fresh, the flavors were perfectly balanced, and every bite felt high quality. Easily some of the best sushi we’ve had in a while. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the service. Our waiter, Ledio, was amazing, genuinely kind, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. He spoke a good amount of Spanish, so we ended up chatting for a while, sharing stories, and he even taught us a little Albanian. Just a great human who elevated the whole night. Incredible views, delicious food, and top-tier service. 100% recommend.
A cozy restaurant right on the seafront. The decor is simple, with pleasant music. It was 12-13 degrees outside, but the terrace was almost full. The waiter was very pleasant and attentive, always smiling. We ordered four types of sushi and an Asian dish, and the wait was 25-30 minutes. Everything was delicious, but the sushi was a bit small, and the prices were a bit high for the size. We were pleasantly surprised by the shell instead of a saucepan for soy sauce. The menu is quite varied. I think we'll visit this place one more time to try other dishes 😌
