Description
Your day begins with pickup from your hotel in Berat at 8:30 AM, eliminating the need for taxis or meeting points. The scenic drive to Skrapar passes terraced hillsides, stone villages, and rural shepherds, narrated by your guide.
At the private riverbank base camp, you will find changing rooms and hot showers. You will equip yourself with a wetsuit, life jacket, helmet, and paddle at your own pace before a safety briefing.
The rafting journey enters Osumi Canyon, where walls rise 80 metres high. The river alternates between calm stretches and Class III rapids. You will see waterfalls and have opportunities for cliff jumping into cold pools, all guided and photographed by your professional guide who is with you in the water.
After rafting, you return to the base to shower and change. Lunch follows at a local restaurant serving authentic Albanian dishes such as slow-cooked meat, fresh salads, and oven-baked bread.
You will return to Berat by late afternoon with dry clothes, a fulfilling meal, free photos on your phone, and a unique story of Albania’s outdoors.
