A real hidden gem in Himare. We had the best night here. The quality and portions of the food were wonderful and the staff was super friendly. There was a live music which made the vibe perfect and entertaining. A must visit, one of the few authentic places in Himare THANK YOU
It's a beautiful restaurant surrounded by beautiful trees . Even during the hot summer days you could feel enjoy lunch in the yard with fresh breeze. Alda was our amazing server, she is extremely kind and took good care of us. She made sure we enjoyed our food and the whole experience at the tavern. The food was so great we ate there for three days straight. All the seafood and fish were extremely fresh and tasty. The grilled octopus was flavorful and tender, the fish soup was very good and the fries sardines were the best we've ever tried. Everything we've tried was amazing. The prices were very reasonable too. I totally recommend it if you need a good place for seafood.
Fantastic place - and massive serving sizes - definitely deserves a go. Really nice environment as well, set with a garden and lovely flowers. The Greek salad was fabulous and the grilled squid equally moving. Good quality cats too (kitten included in photos)
Lovely family run taverna with mostly their own produce supporting the Dior fresh seafood. We had some great Skordalia (warm), bread with their own olive oil, a really good Greek salad with onions that tasted like they had some time to take on the oil and weren’t nasty and bitter. Absolutely Devine fresh shrimp and calamari and some fantastic fresh red mullet and sardines. The house white wine was also very pleasant, dry and balanced not acidic. They have chickens, goats, some cute dogs and an adorable kitten wandering around. Great place will go back.
The space is wonderful. The terrace is wonderful. The server was really nice, we loved to eat in that set. The lights were beautiful. Cats living their lives around, cute as possible. We clearly recommend the local food ! And do not hesitate to take the tzatziki, the best one we’ve had so far !
