The food was okay overall, but the steak was disappointing. It was quite chewy and had a gummy texture, making it difficult to enjoy. The flavor was decent, but the quality and preparation of the steak could definitely be improved. Given the expectations, I was hoping for a more tender and better-cooked cut of meat.
We had diner with a large group: approx. 40. Divided over some tables. Open Kitchen with a Big Green Egg. Service was warm, friendly and all evening perfect. Food was delicious. Wines were good! Very friendly staff! We had a great evening!
Rossini gave us a fine dining experience with friendly, efficient service. The food was delicious and beautiffully presented. The amuse bouche came quickly and courses came at the pace we wanted. Some patrons wanted to linger over dinner for hours and their wishes were met. Excellent ambience.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Probably deserves a 7/5! Service was excellent, and the very friendly, warm, and attentive front of house made our visit very memorable and welcoming. All the dishes ordered were impeccable, and the chefs were very talented in their balance of flavours (especially the citrus fruits). Firstly, the shrimp tartare was excellent! Very nice balance in the raw tiger shrimp and fried panko shrimp, with a great counterbalance by the lime juice and zest. The fish soup was creamy and rich. Super flavourful (though in my personal preference, on the slightly saltier side)! The tiger prawns crudo style was a star. The prawns were subtly sweet, and paired well with the seasonings. The fresh truffle risotto is another gem. The porcini mushroom gave it a great chewy texture and sweetness, and the pecorino and truffle enhanced the aroma of the dish. It was such a great treat! The wild fish fillet (sea bass on the day we went) was super fresh and cooked perfectly. The skin had a very nice, crisp crunch, while the meat was very juicy. Once again, the talented use of lemon was showcased here. Very great combination of flavours! The only thought I had was that the restaurant uses frozen berries just out from the freezer, and the temperature difference between the different components can be a bit jarring. There were so many other dishes that we wanted to try, but had no more stomach space. Definitely one of the best restaurants we ever dined at.
Came to Rossini on our trip to Albania. We came one night and then afternoon. The food was amazing. The service was amazing. The main guy, I don’t know his name but he was amazing and made us feel welcomed. We can one night and we decided to come again for lunch the next day cause the food is amazing and atmosphere was great. Kind waiter.
