stopped by while i was walking to bunk art 1. all the guests were albanian. indeed i had delicious local fresh food, and truly warm service. i wish i would stayed longer in tirana to go back and try other dishes. thank you 🙏 oh, i forgot: the bill, was insanely cheap 😳
A really nice local restaurant serving authentic Albanian food. I had Kukarec for the first time and it was excellent, very tasty with a slightly crispy outside but still succulent inside. The Village Salad was fresh and the tomatoes were particularly flavoursome. We went on a Saturday and it was very busy, but the waiter was very efficient.
We ordered bunch of traditional Albanian food from village salad, chicken with yogurt sauce, kofta and tave dheu. The owner speaks basic English and friendly. Food came quick and it comes with bread. For me, the salad has too much dressing and chicken was too oily. It was good but not the best.
Great traditional Albanian restaurant. If you want to experience real traditional Albanian food in a family restaurant this is the place to go. We came across this restaurant by accident but it was great. The waiter was very friendly and speaks English. He gave us good tips and let us taste real traditional dishes. The price/quality ratio is great. Most visitors are locals but if you want to experience something different you should really give this a chance. Thanks Sirdi for the good service!
Very good food! Polite service, clean space, relaxing place, rich local traditional cuisine, generous portions! Very cheap! If you want to have a simple daily life local experience in terms of local cuisine & hospitality in a hidden neighborhood corner not far from the city-center, Kashta is the right place! Recommended!
