Fantastic spot with a wonderful view of the sea and sunset. Started off with the beer on draught, deliciously sweet and refreshing! Bread and olive salad good and the Lui Potam pizza was incredible I would definitely recommend. Panna cotta finished off the entire meal very nicely. Amar and all staff provided a great and welcoming service!
We made a reservation, and from the moment we stepped in to enquire, the welcome felt genuinely heartfelt. The staff were kind, smiling, and truly appreciative that we had chosen to dine here. When we returned for our booking, we were remembered immediately, warmly greeted, and seated with the utmost kindness. Both the waiter and the owner took the time to come to our table, chat with us, and offer thoughtful recommendations. We were given what must be the best table in the house, with the most breathtaking view of the sunset. While our children played, the staff laughed with them and happily joined in, creating such a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere. The meal was exceptional. We were encouraged to try local traditional dishes, and our waiter even suggested we might be over-ordering, recommending some of his personal favourites instead. Everything arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. The kids devoured the whole sea bream and mussels, along with a pizza they’ll be talking about for a long time. My husband and I adored the seafood stew—it reminded me of a rich, buttery curry filled with beautiful fresh seafood. The constant smiles, warmth, and genuine happiness of everyone working here made it impossible to fault. It’s easy to see why this place is always full, and it deserves every bit of its popularity. We would return in a heartbeat — actually we will be back tonight!
Wonderful place to go to, the food is very good, seafood pasta is outstanding! Drinks are also really nice and everything is affordable. Shoutout to the waiters, all the boys are working really hard and making sure you have a best experience possible :) The view is just a cherry on top
Amazing place! The water is crystal clear and the scenery is beautiful. The beach is rocky rather than sandy, so walking can be a bit uncomfortable, but it's still well worth visiting. The only downsides are the driving culture in the area and the difficulty of finding a parking spot. The food is good and reasonably priced, not overpriced at all. There are plenty of activities available, with opportunities to rent boats, scooters, ATVs, and more. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back again with friends.
We stayed 5 days in Himarë… and we ate at Lui Potam 5 times. Honestly, that says it all. Every single day, we told ourselves we should probably try another restaurant… but every evening we ended up coming back here and we never regretted it once. The food is just THAT good. We tried almost the whole menu: starters, fresh fish, pasta… everything was incredible. The ingredients are amazingly fresh, the dishes are full of flavor, and you can really feel the love and passion behind the cooking. And the prices are honestly more than fair for the quality you get. But what truly makes Lui Potam special is the people. Fati and Amar were so kind, warm, and welcoming every single day. And Lui himself… what an incredible person. Genuine, inspiring, professional, and deeply human. You can feel that this place is built with heart. And then there’s the view… absolutely breathtaking. Watching the sunset here while eating amazing food became our favorite moment of the day. If you are coming to Himarë, do not miss this place.
