originally built in 2001, was one of the tallest buildings in Tirana and home to the country’s first rotating bar, designed by renowned local engineer. In 2023, the building was transformed into the largest rotating bar in the Balkan region. Designed to inspire a sense of timelessness, the structure resembles a floating vessel above the city. The bar’s windows offer a unique perspective of Tirana’s bustling streets as they slowly turn, while high enough to gaze into the horizon and admire the mountains that encircle the city—a natural beauty that adds depth and tranquility to the view. At the heart of the bar stands a tree, symbolizing life within the boundless universe, crowned by a vibrant mosaic glass that reflects the many colors of life, reminding us to appreciate the precious moments we have.
I visited Sky Club with some friends for dinner and drinks as part of our trip to Tirana. The service was polite and professional, the food and drinks were flavourful and well priced. The views were absolutely spectacular, especially as the sun set and Tirana lit up for the night. We could not have asked for more - thank you!
A truly wonderful restaurant and bar where you can experience the warmth of the Albanian soul. The staff are so exceptional that you feel as if you are surrounded by family and close friends. I spent eight unforgettable days in Tirana, and every single evening I came back to this amazing place. They treated me to their own Albanian rakia, and I enjoyed it more than I can describe. After Switzerland, the prices make you feel like an oligarch. 😎 I highly recommend this place to everyone. And who knows — if you mention my name as a promo code, they might even pour you a special rakia. Just do not forget to leave a 10% tip for the staff. Do not be stingy. I have many friends in high places, including politicians, prime ministers and presidents. But I have always treated waiters, bartenders and service staff with even greater respect and care. Love how the bar rotates and take an hour to do a full round. Give yourself time to see the sun set and all the lights turn on in Tirana. The drinks was amazing. Bit pricey but so work being there and the views. For the Restaurant Do Not Come Here for food. The resturant is at the bottom of the 360 bar. No views. The room was bright and no ambience. Although they had table labels to use. The steak was not wague as they said on the menu. The stew only had couple meat pieces in. They did not have some things on the menu. I would avoid this resturant
The Sky Bar on top of the Sky Tower is one of those places you go to get an overview of Tirana, and it actually delivers. It’s located right in Blloku, the most lively and modern part of the city, and the building itself already stands out from below with its almost UFO-like shape. Once you’re upstairs, the main highlight becomes obvious: the bar slowly rotates. It takes roughly an hour to complete a full turn, so if you stay for a drink, you’ll gradually see the entire city from every angle. Around sunset, this is especially nice, with views stretching across the city and out toward the surrounding mountains. The place is definitely on the more touristy side, but it didn’t feel like a trap. Drinks were well made — the espresso martini I had was genuinely good, not just average. Prices are higher compared to typical Albanian spots, but still very reasonable by European standards. The atmosphere was relaxed, and it was easy to strike up conversations with other guests. Service was smooth and friendly, nothing to complain about. There’s also a restaurant one floor below, but the rotating bar upstairs is clearly the place to be. Overall, it’s not a local or traditional experience, but it’s a great first stop in Tirana to get a sense of the city from above.
