We looked in advance where to eat in Gjirokaster and found this place but got stuck in traffic late in the evening. We arrived basically at 10PM very hungry and they welcomed us without a complaint! We ordered a bunch of traditional food and it was excellent! (A must to have with traditional food is the Castle view salad, incredible) No crumbs left. The sweet girl and her family were extremely friendly and the mama was really interested in knowing if we liked the food (so kind). We recommend this place 1000% Thank you again!
The best meal we’ve eaten in Albania!! Such an amazing family and team who runs the restaurant, and ask for recommendations :) they’re bound to be amazing. We went for sunset and had a beautiful view over the back of the castle. An absolute must for anyone going to Gjirokaster! 🧡
This place is a MUST. What an authentic and wholesome experience. They are really caring and hospitable and the food was as fresh as it gets. A MUST when visiting Gjirokastër town.
