Wow this place is amazing. We visited several times as a family of 5 and tried lots of their amazing choices. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, you will definitely not be disappointed and the prices are such great value. If you are around for breakfast try the pistachio croissant and the staff are so friendly. Definitely a worthy 5*.
The caramel pudding wasn’t bad — very sweet, but still quite tasty. The orange cake, however, was pretty average. The service felt a bit odd; maybe they were just having a bad day, or maybe they simply weren’t very interested in serving customers. It’s hard to say. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking to sit down, relax, and enjoy your time.
Had a great experience at Antigones 2000 in Gjirokastër. Perfect location, very friendly service, and really good coffee. Staff was welcoming and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Definitely a spot worth stopping at if you’re in the area. Highly recommend.
This has to be the best bakery in Girojkastra. With Londo in Permeti & Dayana in Korce, it's the best in Albania. The portokalopita, a syrup orange sponge cake & the shendetli, an albanian speciality chocolate sponge cake with walnuts & syrup are excellent. All their baklava are perfect. The best of all is definitely their pistachio amaretti. Never had anything like it. There is an élégant café inside to sit & enjoy all these. The girl behind the counter is extremely efficient, welcoming & very helpful to recommend which cakes to buy to bring abroad. Thank you, Antigonea bakery!
Really good bakery/cafe/pastry. While we stayed in Gjirokastra we have been there like four times. They make good cafe and also the pastry is delicious. We tried the mini cake and biscuits. And the price is very good too. The staff is also nice and the interior of the bakery is well furnished. You can eat inside or take it away if you want. I really recommend it.
