Embark on a timeless wine-tasting experience in the heart of Berat, one of Albania’s most picturesque and historic wine regions. This curated tour is perfect for wine lovers and curious travelers seeking authentic local flavors and warm hospitality. Your experience begins at our office in Berat, where you’ll be greeted by our friendly driver. You’ll then be transferred to one of the region’s top family-run wineries—each known for its dedication to traditional methods and high-quality production. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by a member of the winemaking family, who will lead you on a guided tour of the vineyard and production area. You'll learn about the winemaking process from grape to bottle, gaining insight into the local grape varieties and the unique terroir that makes Berat wines so special. After the tour, relax and enjoy a carefully curated tasting of three premium wines, chosen by the winery to showcase their finest offerings. To elevate your tasting experience, you'll also sample a glass of traditional Albanian raki, a strong grape-based spirit deeply rooted in local culture. Complementing your drinks will be a selection of local snacks—fresh, seasonal, and thoughtfully paired with each tasting. The entire experience lasts approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, giving you time to savor the wines, engage with the hosts, and enjoy the serene vineyard setting. Once the tasting is complete, our driver will take you back to Berat. Important Information: This experience includes a visit to one winery.
