Description

This day tour starts from Tirana and Durres. Meet with your local guide and continue driving to the lagoon of Karavasta. It is the largest lagoon in the country and is most notable for featuring 5% of the world population of the globally endangered and extremely rare Dalmatian Pelican. Inside the lagoon, we will take a boat tour to admire and watch the diversity of birds. Later, we will walk along the Adriatic coast for birdwatching occasional species that visit the national park. The tour continues next to the famous Castle of Berat. While walking in the castle, you can enjoy the narrow streets and the traditional houses. From above you will be able to have an amazing view of the old town. Your guide will take you to discover the Mangalem neighborhood, visit the medieval center, walk along the Osumi River, and take great photos of Gorica Bridge. These authentic quarters have made it possible for the city of Berat to be listed in Unesco World Heritage. After some free time, return to your hotel.
