Description
The pier for boats is located in an authentic fishing village in Virpazar. Before we start the cruise, you will be able to enjoy the beauty and landscape of Virpazar, and then we start sailing through a narrow channel that stretches through reeds and willows. At the exit from the small canal, you can enjoy the beautiful landscape of Lake Skadar and the view of the mountain massifs of the neighboring country of Albania, as well as the two mountain peaks above Vranjina, which are the symbols of Lake Skadar. The cruise continues past the ancient Lesendro fortress from the 18th century, then we continue towards Rijeka Crnojevića, passing several islands (Mala Čakovica, Velika Čakovica, Kamenik, Lipovnjak and Galić). Entering the channel of the Rijeka Crnojevića from both sides, you will have the opportunity to admire the beauty of the plants (reeds, water lilies, casoronja) that are spread over the surface of the water along the waterway. You will have the opportunity to see several species of birds, and we can often meet Pelicans, which are the symbol of Lake Skadar. We continue our cruise passing under Pavlova strana (aut. Pavlova strana), which presents one of the most beautiful landscapes of Lake Skadarka, after which we gently sail into the unique fishing village of Rijeka Crnojevića. Rijeka Crnojevića (auth. Rijeka Crnojevića) has a very important role in the history of Montenegro. It has indigenous architecture, and the natural environment is especially interesting, reflected in the blue water and mountain massifs covered with greenery. The tour and exploration of the village lasts 1 hour, after which we board the boat and return to Virpazar. On the way back, enjoy the blue water of Lake Skadar, you will have the opportunity to swim in the pleasant water of the lake, after which we slowly return to the starting point at the pier.Includes
