Description
The Albanian Riviera looks its best in the last hour of light, and this evening cruise gives you that view from the water instead of the shore.
You set off from Saranda in the early evening, after the heat has eased and the daytime boats have returned to port. The sea is calmer and quieter at this hour, and the coastline begins to glow as the sun drops.
The boat follows the Riviera coast at an unhurried pace, past cliffs and coves that catch the warm evening light. Along the way it pauses in a sheltered bay, where you can swim in the calm evening sea or stay aboard and take in the view.
As the sun lowers over the Ionian Sea, you settle in with a welcome drink and a few light snacks while Corfu turns to a long silhouette on the horizon and the sky and water move through gold, orange and pink.
On the way back, Saranda comes into view with its lights switching on and Lëkurësi Castle standing over the bay. You return to port after about five hours, having seen the city and the coast in a way the daytime tours never show.
