Lovely restaurant with the absolute best staff, they were so welcoming and kind, they even held our 1 year old while we ate dinner! I felt like I was back home with family while eating here. The meatballs were the best I've ever eaten. They were crisp on the outside, and super soft on the inside, so delicious! I highly recommend.
Wow. We noticed the whole chickens roasting over coals in the window and decided to try this place. Wow. We had chicken soup, stuffed peppers, meatballs, and a half chicken along with Elbar, the local beer. This place delivered fantastic food. Everything was fantastic, and we ordered the meatballs after the rest of the meal because everything else was good. The proprietor takes personal care of her guests and is the sweetest woman. She also brought out her carrot dessert, which is an absolute gem. These people care about good food, and the portions are significant. This might be the best food we've eaten in Albania.
We had a wonderful experience at Taverna Te Sabriu! The food was fresh, delicious, and full of authentic flavors. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was warm, relaxing, and perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends. Great quality, generous portions, and excellent value for money. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!
A nice, cosy and simple taverna run by a super warm and friendly owner, Claudia, servicing delicious traditional Albanian food. I came here because of the reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I tried the chicken soup, meatballs and tzatziki. All were lovely. Claudia also served a free carrot and cinnamon dessert. She was very friendly and kept asking if everything was okay. I honestly would have loved to try the grilled meat but 1kg is a bit much for me. Side note: I didn't want fries with my meatballs and Claudia gave me 2 extra balls instead 😅 There are steps leading to the restaurant.
Klaudiana the owner is amazing. She welcomed us and treat us like a family. The food was delicious. We got meatballs, bell peppers with rice, grilled chicken, fries, Greek salad. She also gave us pie with spinach and dessert that’s carrot with cinnamon. Which is amazing.
