My cousin and I booked through Choose Balkans the self guided intermediate tour of the Peaks of the Balkans. It was one of the most fantastic trips and hikes I have ever completed. We were so well organised and had Brikena at the end of the phone whenever we had a question or needed some help. It made the trip faultless and stress free. We could just enjoy the views and hikes. Would recommend completely as so worth the ease and peace of mind.
We had a wonderful food and walking tour of Tirana with Florian today; the meeting instructions were clear and the hosts super friendly; we started with spinach and cheese, veal and tomato and onion byrek for breakfast. Amazingly tasty. Then a meander through the old bazaar full of clothing, but unlike many bazaars it was calm and quiet, and we weren’t pestered. Then onto the fruit market where we enjoyed fresh fruit including cherries, nectarines and apricots, followed by walnuts, cheese and olives. Then onto a restaurant at the new bazaar and had a hot food meze, then macaroon-style cookies on the move. Culminating in a sit down at a Raki bar by the Pyramid with traditional Raki in a very unique setting. Recommend this tour, and Florian, in a heartbeat. You won’t regret it. It’s a fantastic way to see the city and experience Albanian food and drink.
had a wonderful stay! The place was truly amazing very clean, well-organized, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The space felt cozy and thoughtfully prepared down to the smallest details. The host was very welcoming and communication was easy throughout. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again! ✨
We stayed in the Rooftop Tirana, which is part of the Choose Balkans group. The room was clean and comfortable, and had a nice terrace with a beautiful view from the top floor. The team communicated well and were proactive with their messages to make sure we found our way and didn’t have any problems. Besa was a wonderful host who showed us around the room and offered any help we might need. The room was right in the middle of the action in Tirana, walkable to everything we needed. Highly recommend this company and this accommodation!
(Ambassador Skyline Apartments) The staff was friendly and helpful. Brikena welcomed us, was very kind and made sure everything was perfect. Everything was clean, comfortable, and tidy. The room and view were wonderful.
