We had an amazing day with Orest! He was incredibly kind, friendly, and made us feel welcome from the very beginning. We were traveling with children, and he adapted the tour perfectly to our family, making sure everyone, both adults and kids, had a great time. He shared so many interesting stories and taught us a lot about Albania, its history, and its culture. His English is excellent, and he has a great sense of humor, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The Osum Canyon and Bogova Waterfall were absolutely breathtaking. We were truly amazed by the beauty of these places. We also really appreciated all of Orest’s recommendations throughout the day. Everything was well organized, and we felt well taken care of. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Albania. We would book it again without hesitation!
This is the best company I could have used for our unique trip. We got the best of both worlds: we were able to visit the local must-see spots like the canyon and the waterfalls. We’re older so we weren’t up to hikes and strenuous activities which I know they do offer. Berat served as an excellent base for this trip of a lifetime! We were able to taste regional and local wines and visit a children’s festival. All of this was great. But the other part of our trip was to meet with extended family members and locate the small mountain village that my husband’s family comes from. Erilda and her team delivered that and much more. This may have been a first for them but when other relatives visit we know who to call. They were able to pivot as our plans changed day by day. They were able to drive us to the very remote old village where we actually saw the house my husband’s grandfather lived in! Walking the same paths as his ancestors brought chills to us both. We are very humbled by the hospitality and care shown to us as we were welcomed like family whether related or not. Thank you, Erilda and team!
We had a wonderful time with Orest at Bogova Falls and Osumi Canyon. He was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable, and he even managed to make the driving time fly by. We were a small group, but Orest made us feel completely comfortable with one another. A not-to-be-missed experience, especially on a hot day!
We did a tour to the bogova waterfall and wine tasting at the pupa winery. Our guide was super friendly and helpful. We had a really pleasant day. The waterfall is beautiful and it's a very easy 20-minute walk. Water is freezing so be prepared if you want to swim! The winery is really modern and welcoming and the wine tasting was fun. We bought some white and red wine! Thank you to 1001AA for organising! Would recommend!
We had a great time. Orest was a good guide. He speaks English very well, which really improves the experience. He also knew a lot about the history of Albania and the areas we visited. The tour itself was very nice as well.
