If you're looking for an extraordinary dining experience in Tirana, stop searching. You’ve found it! The Fasule Pllaqi me Suxhuk (kidney beans with suxhuk) are my new obsession. Incredibly flavorful and perfectly seasoned, I could genuinely eat them three times a week. The Qofte (Albanian meat patties with onions) are equally exquisite! Full of flavor, generous in size, and served with toasted bread that adds such a satisfying, homey touch. We ordered three portions, my kids demolished the leftovers! We also tried the Djathë Kaçkavall Furre (baked Kaçkavall cheese) and the Risotto Panna-Pulë-Kërpudhë (panna, chicken, mushrooms) along with a unique local beer and all were outstanding. The Patate të Skuqura (French fries) deserve a special mention. They are cut fresh and fried to order. They’re the closest we've had since dining at Anassa in Syros, Greece, so high praise from a family that lived there for three months. We arrived on a Friday at 7:45pm and couldn't understand why the place wasn't packed. Our server, the grandson of the grandfather who cooks, explained it perfectly. They prefer just a few tables at a time so every guest gets exceptional attention and every dish comes out exactly right. That philosophy shows in every single bite. We're already planning our next visit for more Fasule Pllaqi, Patate të Skuqura, and Qofte, and to finally try the Corn Bruschetta Zafferano and Tavë Dheu (traditional casserole). They do sell out of food because they’re so delicious. So make this place a priority. Go in, slow down, and let them take care of you.

Very nice family-driven restaurant that is a hidden gem. Really good authentic Albanian food and super friendly service. Make sure to order grandpa’s red wine and raki to make the dinner complete. Will definitely come back to this place.

I rarely leave reviews, but this place absolutely deserves one. From the moment you walk in, you can feel that this isn’t just another restaurant—it’s a team that genuinely cares about what they’re doing. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service is attentive without ever feeling intrusive, and every detail feels intentional. The food? Exceptional. Every dish is crafted with a level of precision and quality you’d expect from a much higher-end establishment. Fresh ingredients, perfect execution, and presentation that shows real pride in the kitchen. What impressed me the most, though, is the value. It’s honestly surprising how reasonable the prices are for this level of quality. You leave feeling like you experienced something premium, yet paid far less than you would expect. Great service, outstanding food, and pricing that feels almost undervalued for the standard they deliver—this place sets the bar high. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be coming back.
