Don’t let the simple exterior fool you. This family-run taverna serves some of the freshest, most authentic food we had in Albania. Everything tasted homemade and prepared with care. The grilled fish was incredibly fresh and cooked perfectly. The natural potatoes were delicious, the tzatziki was full of flavor, and the Greek salad was packed with vegetables that genuinely tasted like they had just been picked from a garden. Every ingredient was fresh, simple, and allowed to shine. The restaurant itself is spotless, the service is warm and welcoming, and the prices are outstanding for the quality of food you receive. If you’re looking for a relaxed, authentic meal without the touristy atmosphere, Valos Fish Taverna is an easy recommendation. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Himarë.
Definitely a stop when in Himare. This place is must if you're into amazing fresh fish and warm service. They don't do reservation but it's worth the wait. I recommend everything 😂
A homestyle restaurant where you'll find reasonably prices seafood cooked by a lovey grandma! It's right by the beach but a bit hidden. There won't be anyone calling you 5o sit, but you'll always see it full with locals and tourist explorers ! The sardine fry was amazing, so was the greek salad. I've had better fish grill in himare but it was okay for the price. A recommended visit for anyone who wants authentic albanian homestyle food with good value !

Nice little seafood place close to the beach, run by an older woman. Perfect for a quick lunch! The food was tasty and fresh, service was fast, even though she barely spoke English. They only accept cash! Seating is limited.
