Description
Begin your journey with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Tirana or Durrës. Travel to a charming vineyard nestled in the rolling Albanian countryside, surrounded by breathtaking views of the Adriatic hinterland.
Meet a third-generation winemaker family and learn about Albania’s winemaking history, which dates back to the Bronze Age. Discover over 100 native grape varieties, including Kallmet, Shesh i Zi, Shesh i Bardhë, Vlosh, and Pula, shaped by centuries of Mediterranean climate and unique mountain microclimates.
Your host will personally guide you through the vineyard rows and wine cellar, explaining the full winemaking process from vine to bottle, and sharing fascinating stories about Albania’s ancient winemaking heritage.
After the cellar tour, settle in for a relaxed tasting of carefully selected wines — whites, reds, and rosé — all perfectly paired with hyperlocal Albanian products: homemade cheese, pickled vegetables, hand-baked bread, and seasonal snacks sourced directly from the local area.
Enjoy a warm, intimate, and personal atmosphere where every question is welcome and every glass tells a story. Finally, relax on the return journey to your hotel.
