We booked the Bovilla Lake & Gamti Mountain hiking tour and, on another day, the Blue Eye in Sarandë, and Theth Village tour with Qato Tours. From the moment we started, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. We never expected such exceptional service. Our guide went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. He took us to additional scenic spots that weren't even part of the itinerary, bought us fresh fruits and bread along the way, and even treated us to a delicious meal at a restaurant after the tour. These thoughtful gestures made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. Even though the drives were long, we were comfortable the entire time, and the journey was just as enjoyable as the destinations. Every detail reflected how much they care about giving their guests the best possible experience. If you're visiting Albania, I can't recommend Qato Tours enough. I took the Bogove waterfalls and Osumi canyon tour in Feb 2026. this is an exquisite tour. The landscape, the towering canyons, the powerful river and waterfalls, are so spectacular, unique, and energetic. I came in early Feb & especially after the continuous heavy rain in January, it is really an experience of a lifetime. The water destroyed the concrete roads & bridges, created new arteries on their own, moved tons of rocks downstream. There were higher water levels & bigger waterfalls, all these you can’t see in the summer. Due to low season, I was the only guest, but they gladly took me for a private tour. Edison corresponded with me, he’s so kind, helpful and offered much assistance. Guide Cimi (Ndricim Qalliu) took me for the tour, he is so experienced, probably he had taken this route for over 100 times. He took me to all scenic spots, explained clearly & gave insights about other issues in Albania. They even included best home-made lunch in a local family restaurant. En route from Berat to Osumi canyon Ura Lapanit , it’s a beautiful curvy narrow road in mountainous landscape, with snow capped peaks, authentic rural agriculture, cow & goats, etc. Just summarise with the word “thrilling”.
