This place has an amazing atmosphere. From the moment we stepped in, we felt right at home. The staff were incredible, attentive, and welcoming, and we had a very interesting conversation with them. Out of all the places we visited while exploring Albania, this one truly holds a special place in our hearts. It was so refreshing to enjoy the company of the animals around us, freshly homemade delicious food, and the breathtaking views. We got two traditional dishes and a salad. Restaurant offers a wine tasting experience, but we at that time enjoyed just one glass of homemade white wine because we got there by car. It costed for us about 2000+ lek. We highly recommend this place to everyone visiting Gjirokastër – you simply cannot miss it! Thank you once again for such a wonderful experience. Best wishes from Lithuania! ❤️🫶🏼

We had our wedding anniversary lunch here - it truly exceeded our expectations. It was a magical experience and one of the highlights during our trip to Albania. Service was amazing and friendly, food was good quality and very reasonable pricing. Would highly recommend!

A Hidden Paradise in Albania What a wonderful place to stay! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the incredibly friendly hosts, Marcel and Esmeralda, who made us feel right at home. The location is simply stunning. Nestled among vineyards and fruit trees, with breathtaking views over the valley and surrounding mountains, it's the perfect place to relax and unwind. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and had a beautiful balcony where we spent hours enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The atmosphere here is something special. Chickens and turkeys roam freely, the scenery is gorgeous, and life seems to slow down in the best possible way. The food was excellent. Every meal was fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. The wine tasting was another highlight—delicious wines enjoyed in an unforgettable setting. We only stayed two nights, but we easily could have stayed longer. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with fantastic food, great wine, stunning views, and exceptional hospitality, this is the place. Highly recommended!

Visited as a solo traveller and took a taxi all the way out to the winery specifically hoping to do a wine tasting. On arrival, I was initially told tastings weren't available for one person. I was then offered a tasting, but at 3,500 LEK, which is only 500 LEK less than the price for two people, making it difficult to justify as a solo visitor. Instead, I opted for a glass of wine from the menu. The wine itself was enjoyable and probably the smoothest Albanian wine I've tried during my travels. However, I was hoping for more information about the wines, their production, and the winery's story, which was quite limited. The setting is undoubtedly the highlight. The vineyard location is beautiful and makes for a very scenic lunch stop. Be aware that large tour groups arrived around 2pm, so if you're looking for a quieter experience, it may be worth visiting earlier. For lunch, I ordered the lamb. The quality of the meat was excellent and it was cooked well, with a generous portion size. That said, the dish was extremely simple, consisting mainly of lamb and rice without many accompaniments, seasoning, or additional flavours. Overall, the winery has a lovely setting and decent wine, but as someone from South Africa who enjoys wine and wine tourism, I found the tasting experience overpriced for solo visitors and lacking in information and engagement. Worth visiting for the atmosphere, but there is room to improve the overall wine experience.

Lovely location and people but wine tasting seems slightly overpriced. We paid 1800 Leke (18€) per person for 4 wines (2x white & 2x red) and some small snacks (cheese, olives and nuts) and an offered raki at the end. Wine by the glass is 200 Leke each here according to menu. Update to your response: Thank you for your response. To clarify: my review was not disrespectful, it reflected my honest opinion as a paying customer. I was informed of the price in advance, chose to participate, and paid for the tasting without complaint. Knowing the price beforehand does not mean I cannot later have an opinion about whether the experience felt worth it. My review was about value for money, not about disrespecting your work or your wine. In my experience, the tasting felt expensive for what was provided, especially as the explanations were quite brief. That is simply my personal view of the experience. Different customers will have different expectations and opinions, and reviews exist to reflect that. Nevertheless I wish you all the best and continued success ❤️
