We did the wine tour, and I cannot recommend it enough!!! It was the highlight of our trip in Berat, and our guide Igy was incredible. He was super knowledgeable on everything and very fun and chatty. I’m glad we did it
We booked a tour to the Bogovë waterfall and a float through the Osum canyon - wow! Both were amazing and our guide Igi was really informative and knowledgeable about Albanian history, culture and so much more. The canyon float was really spectacular - we had the canyon to ourselves. Lunch at the takeout spot was perfect - Igi knew exactly how to make the day go smoothly.
The wine tour with THE PROFESSOR must surely be one of the best things you will do in Berat. It is a very complete tour and he is a very knowlegeable person. But the most special part is how he made sure we had the best day out and felt we were among friends. The wines, snacks, views were all top quality ! Loved every minute ! Thank you so much, Professor !
The wine tasting Tour with THE PROFESSOR was fantastic. He was very knowledgable about the whole process of wine making in the region from planting of the vinyards, treatment, harvest, fermentation, aging to bottling. Very impressive even for me having lived in a wine region for many years. Besides, the ambiance was great. Lots of humour, history and current issues in Albania, great party music on the way in the small bus. Dancing with the group for the joy of other guests at the winery. Most stunning places: vinyards with evening view, tasting on the beautyful terrace of the winery
