The location was great seeing the view of the place. Eating breakfast also was amazing and delicious!The rooms were clean and nice. But most important Alma and the others in charge of this guesthouse were ready to help us for anything we needed. Their hospitality is something we gonna remember!
We stayed here spontaneously for one night in April 2026 with a family of 5 in two separate rooms. The upstairs room was really not much of a room as the ceilings were so slanted that I could basically not stand up straight except in the middle of the room. It had a cabin feeling, kind of cozy but extremely low ceiling and very tight. Bathroom looked nice but not functional for an adult as it was difficult to use the toilet or shower. I had to bend down very low to see myself in the mirror. The other room on ground floor was pretty good, very small but functional. Rooms are all close together and you hear the neighbors very well. Breakfast was pretty good and the views are amazing. Location of the guesthouse was great to visit the Bazaar and castle. Parking right outside. Staff was ok; not as friendly as in other places but still ok. Prices were reasonable considering the small rooms and for the fact that parking and breakfast were included. I personally feel that the upstairs room cannot be considered a regular room due to the low ceilings, but tha is just me. Overall a good stay and good for what we needed.
I was there 3 years ago and loved to come back this year as well. The rooms were very clean, nicely decorated and comfy. Parking space right in front of the guesthouse, delicious breakfast. The host was very welcoming and the location was optimal. Definitely visiting, if I come to Gjirokastra again.
