Description

Begin your day in Vlora city center, where Albania became independent in 1912. Walk through Flag Square, see the Independence Monument, and visit the old Muradie Mosque. Your guide will tell you about Vlora’s important history. Enjoy the city’s busy streets, small shops, and sunny cafés. After that, we will visit Zvernec, a quiet and beautiful place near the Narta Lagoon. Walk through the wooden bridge to reach the Zvernec Monastery, located on a small island. This peaceful area is perfect for taking photos and enjoying nature. Next, we drive to the ancient site of Amantia, on a hill with great views of the Vjosa River Valley. Amantia was an Illyrian city from more than 2,000 years ago. You will see the ruins of a stadium, a temple, and old city walls. It is a calm and interesting place where you can learn more about Albania’s ancient past. We will end our tour at the historic Brataj Bridge, a small stone bridge dating back to the Ottoman period. Nestled in a green valley and surrounded by nature, the bridge carries stories of how people once used it to travel between villages and towns. On the return journey to Vlorë, we will make a scenic stop in the village of Kaninë, offering a fantastic photo opportunity with panoramic views overlooking the city of Vlorë.
