Description
Pick up at the hotel and be ready to explore the capital of Albania, Tirana. The main economic and cultural center of the country and a vibrant city, full of life. You will visit the main attractions located along Main Boulevard and Skanderbeg Square, starting from Mother Teresa Square, the central government buildings such as the Presidency and the Prime Minister’s Office, several ministries, the Check Point and the Block, religious monuments such as the Catholic and Orthodox Cathedrals, the Ethem Bey Mosque, the National Museum, and the BunkArt 1. After passing through much of the city, we head to the Dajti National Park, a mountain located on the outskirts of Tirana. The ascent will be made through a panoramic cable car, the longest in the Balkans, and from a height of 1200m, from where we will have lunch and enjoy the wonderful view of Tirana, the entire Western Plain and the Adriatic Sea. On the way back, we will stop at the Bektashi World Center to complete the historical and religious picture of Albania. The Bektashies are the second largest Islamic community in the country and one of the main factors in the excellent religious harmony and coexistence that prevails in the country.
