Climb aboard your čun - the traditional wooden boat this area is known for. Sit back and enjoy the calmness as we lead you through the paths where birds like to 'hang out'. Put on your binoculars to better observe the birds - watch them closely as they soar through the waking sky or dive deep into the lake's waters to catch their breakfast or lunch. Hear the stories the lake hides and learn about its unique ecosystem that attracts a large variety of birds. Depending on the season, you can spot a variety of bird species - black cormorants, gulls, coots, kingfishers, herons, eagles, terns, and a range of ducks. The dalmatian pelican, a symbol of the lake, is a perfect ambassador. It's a thrilling challenge to spot, but with a bit of luck, we often succeed!

• Please note that the parking situation in Virpazar isn't optimal. Parking is free throughout the village; however, for easier parking, please check the instructions on your ticket. The meeting location should be reached at least 15 minutes before your departure time, after you have parked and are ready to start the tour. Please note that this tour is subject to cancellation due to weather conditions. If it is raining or there are strong winds, we may alter the boat used for the tour, reschedule your booking for another day, or provide a full refund.
