Description

Experience the breathtaking natural wonders of Lake Skadar with our two-hour guided sightseeing tour. Join us inside a traditional wooden boat as we travel along narrow channels, and savour the delicious local wine, while your guide reveals all the fascinating stories from the region. The tour starts in Virpazar, a charming fishing village on the shore of Lake Skadar, just a short half-hour drive from Montenegro's capital. At the meeting point, our local tour operator will check your vouchers and explain how to pay the National Park fee. Then, we'll set sail and begin our adventure! Admire the stunning mountain ranges of Albania and Vranjina, the nearest island, as they tower over the crystal-clear waters of the lake. Discover Lesendro, the Key of Lake Skadar, a beautiful fortification steeped in history. Glide through meadows of lake grass (water chestnuts) and observe remarkable bird species dry their wings on top of ruins. Marvel at the thousands of large, deep green lotus leaves floating behind the three islets and savour a sip of delicious local wine. On the return journey, take your time to enjoy the picturesque views, and take a refreshing swim in the fresh, deep-blue waters of Lake Skadar. When the swimming part is finished, we'll return to Virpazar.
