Description

Embark on a unique local experience where you will meet the famous blue mussel of Butrint Lake. Sail on a traditional boat to a mussel farm, and learn about the process of mussel cultivation. Take some fresh mussels directly from the farm, and then head to a local restaurant to cook and eat them. Start your journey on a traditional boat, and stop at a mussel farm. Learn about the process of mussel cultivation, and take some fresh mussels directly from the farm. Next, stop at a local restaurant, and get involved in the separation process. Each of you will wear gloves and start to separate the mussels. Work, sail, and meditate for 15 minutes, if you wish. After that, sail to another part of the National Park of Butrint, and head to a local and idyllic restaurant. Cook together two kinds of mussel dishes dressed in olive oil, lemon, and parsley, accompanied by local white wine, fresh vegetables, homemade bread, and water. After enjoying the taste of the land and sharing wonderful stories, relax on a sail back through the sunset.
