During the Himara Watertaxi cruise, you will learn from the guide about the history, geology, and culture of Himare. About 20 minutes from departure, you will reach Doves Cave, an amazing secluded beach surrounded by cliffs with a big cave right in the middle. After a short swimming stop there you will reach the Gjipe Canyon,a stunning natural attraction renowned for its rugged cliffs, turquoise waters, and picturesque surroundings. We are now heading to the Pirates Cave were the impressive formations of the area, sculpted by the erosive power of waves and winds, were used by pirates as hiding places for ships during the Middle Ages. After a slow-speed overview of the Dhermi and Palasa beach, you will now visit the Saint Andrews beach where you will have 30 minutes to enjoy the crystal clear waters and try a homemade snack. Just 10 minutes away is located the secluded Gramma Bay The bay’s calm waters beckon swimmers and kayakers, providing ample opportunities for aquatic adventures. Snorkeling enthusiasts will find themselves in an underwater wonderland, discovering the diverse marine life that calls Grama Bay home. The clarity of the water allows for visibility down to the sandy bottom, enhancing the experience of exploring this coastal ecosystem. This is also a nice opportunity for underwater photography , so make sure you don't miss it! The bay of Gramma will be the last swimming stop of the cruise. A contradictory landscape with greenish rocks and almost transparent shallow waters will enchant you for the next hour, while you enjoy swimming and moments of relaxation. While Grama Bay’s beauty is undoubtedly the main attraction, the water taxi journey back to Himare adds another layer of enjoyment. The return trip allows you to savor the coastal landscapes once more, providing a different perspective as the boat navigates the azure expanse.
