Kick off your adventure with a morning hotel pickup by our friendly guide—don’t worry, they’re also a professional! Buckle up as we head to Bulqize, home to Albania’s largest chromium mine (fun fact: it’s shiny). Get ready for a 1-hour, 15-minute drive through stunning mountain scenery—cue the Instagram-worthy moments! Once we arrive, we’ll stroll down Bulqize’s bustling boulevard, dive into the city's quirky history, and even check out the Chromium Museum (it’s small like the town itself!). A short 15-minute drive takes us to the trailhead where your real adventure begins. Hike up to Skanderbeg Tower Rock, perched at 950 meters. Don’t worry, it’s an easy trail, and the views of the mountains and valleys are totally worth it! We’ll take a breather at a scenic balcony for some “wow” moments before heading to the 15-meter Dushaj Waterfall—nature’s own spectacle. After all that, we’ll visit Kulla Hupi guesthouse, a 230-year-old slice of Albanian tradition. Enjoy a tasty lunch packed with local goodies in the peaceful embrace of nature—definitely the kind of meal that deserves its own story. Then, we’ll head back to Tirana, retracing our scenic steps, but with fuller bellies and bigger smiles!
