Begin your journey at the Basha Donkey Farm, a family-run farm nestled in the Albanian countryside. Meet your friendly hosts and over 40 affectionate donkeys. Take time to brush your donkey, a moment of bonding that starts your walk with a smile. Set off on a 30–40 minute walk, guided by your donkey and experienced hosts. Feel the rhythm of nature, breathe in the fresh air, and connect deeply with one of the most underrated animals on the planet. As you walk, stop at interactive stations that reveal the remarkable secrets of donkey milk, prized since antiquity for its healing, nutritious, and revitalizing effects. Learn about its use in medicine, beauty, and nutrition, and discover how it supports the body’s defenses and helps maintain a healthy gut. Watch a milking demonstration, a process rooted in tradition and care. After the walk, sample fresh donkey milk, locally made cheese, and warm village bread (kulaç) straight from the oven.
