2-Day South Albania Adventure: Gjirokastër, Blue Eye, Ksamil & Thermal Baths Embark on an unforgettable 2-day journey from Tirana through the heart of Southern Albania — where history, nature, and relaxation blend perfectly. Day 1: Your adventure begins early as we drive toward the UNESCO city of Gjirokastër, also known as “The Stone City.” Stroll through its charming old bazaar, explore the ancient castle overlooking the valley, and feel the spirit of Albanian tradition at every corner. Next, we visit the breathtaking Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër) — a natural spring famous for its crystal-clear turquoise waters. Take stunning photos or simply relax in the serenity of this magical place. The day ends in Saranda, the pearl of the Albanian Riviera, where you’ll enjoy a peaceful night at a cozy hotel near the sea. Day 2: After breakfast, we continue toward Ksamil, known for its white sandy beaches and crystal waters — a perfect place for a morning swim or a coffee by the sea. Later, we head to Përmet, home of the famous Thermal Baths of Benja, surrounded by mountains and stone bridges. Here you can relax in the warm healing waters and enjoy nature at its purest. After a full day of discovery and relaxation, we return to Tirana in the evening, bringing back unforgettable memories from South Albania’s most beautiful gems.
