Description

Your tour begins at 16:30with a scenic drive from Saranda or Ksamil to the famous Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër), Road to go take one hour. Upon arrival, you'll have the choice to either walk the 1.5–2 km trail through the lush forest or take the local train ride for a small extra cost (600 Lek round trip). Entrance to the Blue Eye is 50 Lek per person, payable on site. Once inside, you'll explore the magical Blue Eye spring — a stunning natural phenomenon with crystal-clear, turquoise water bubbling from deep underground. We'll stop at 2–3 different viewpoints for amazing photo opportunities and take in the peaceful sounds of nature all around. After soaking in the views, we’ll stop at the local café by the spring, where you can relax with a coffee or drink in this serene setting. Next, we head to Lekursi Castle, just a 30-minute drive away. This hilltop fortress offers panoramic views of Saranda, the Ionian Sea, and Corfu. We’ll explore the castle grounds and settle in just in time for the breathtaking golden hour — perfect for stunning sunset photos and a relaxing drink as the sun dips behind the hills. ON FRIDAY CASTLE ENTERY FEE IS 500 Lek for Person.

Important Information

  • Important Information Before Booking: Entrance to the Blue Eye (50 Lek) and the optional train ride (600 Lek round trip) are not included in the tour price and must be paid in cash on-site. The walk to the Blue Eye is 1.5–2 km each way if you choose not to take the train. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Sunset times vary depending on the season — the experience is best between April and October. The tour is not wheelchair accessible. This tour requires a minimum number of participants. If the minimum is not met, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund. Please bring cash (Albanian Lek) for small local payments and any personal purchases. Pick-up is available from Saranda or Ksamil — please provide your location when booking.
