Description

Your adventure begins with pickup from your hotel in Durrës and a scenic drive to Vlorë. From here, the real fun starts as you board a speedboat and set off across the open sea. Feel the thrill of speed, the wind in your hair, and enjoy music on board that makes the ride even more exciting. The first stop is Sazan Island, Albania’s largest island. Once a secret military base, today it looks like a ghost town with bunkers, tunnels, and abandoned houses. You’ll have time to walk around the ruins or enjoy a refreshing swim at the island’s small beach. Next, the boat takes you to the legendary Haxhi Ali Pirate Cave. Only reachable by boat, this giant grotto is a natural wonder. Inside, sunlight reflects off the emerald water and limestone formations. Your guide will share stories of Haxhi Ali, the pirate who once hid here. Swimming is not allowed inside for safety reasons, but it’s the perfect spot for photos. Finally, you cruise along the Karaburun Peninsula and stop at Saint Vasil Bay, a wild and beautiful beach with crystal-clear water. Here you can relax, sunbathe, snorkel, or enjoy a fresh seafood lunch at a local seaside restaurant (optional, not included). After plenty of time to swim and relax, the boat returns to Vlorë where your driver will be waiting to take you back to Durrës. Important Information

• Pick-up will be confirmed via WhatsApp by guide in the evening before your tour. Guests should be ready at car main roads, as buses cannot enter all streets. The tour is on a modern speedboat, which can be bumpy; life jackets are provided and must be worn. Guests with back, neck, heart issues, or pregnancy are advised not to join. Beaches are rocky; bring comfortable shoes for walking and flip-flops or water shoes for swimming stops. At Karaburun Peninsula, there is a small restaurant, bar, and toilets; at Sazan Island, there are no facilities. Access inside abandoned buildings is prohibited. Bring light clothing, swimwear, towel, sunscreen, water, snacks, and camera. The itinerary may change due to weather or sea conditions. The tour is conducted in English; children must be accompanied by an adult.
