Description

Your tour guide will meet you early in the morning at your hotel lobby in Tirana and continue driving north of Albania. On the way, you will be amazed by the high peaks and green nature of the region. The first stop is Qafa e Thores (1700m), where you will get great panoramic views of the Albanian Alps. The drive continues down a beautiful asphalted road surrounded by green forest. We start our walk by visiting the church standing as a symbol in the center of the valley. Next, we head to the Lock tower to get to know one of the mysterious histories of north Albania, that of Lek Dukagjini’s kanun. Around 1-hour walk from the village, through the dense forests, and along the fresh waters of Theth River is hidden a speechless waterfall. The water flows from the high mountains and creates a 30-meter-high waterfall. Those with a more adventurous spirit can get inside the freshwater. After a perfect rest, we return to the village for a delicious local meal. Theth is famous for its fresh livestock and you can taste the local bio food. In the afternoon we drive back to your hotel in Tirana.
