Description

Start your adventure early from Tirana or Durres in a comfortable 4x4 off-road SUV heading toward the Gramsh region, one of Albania’s most untouched natural areas. Our first stop is at Banja Lake, a crystal-clear reservoir surrounded by mountains, where we’ll have time to relax, enjoy the panoramic view, and grab a coffee in a lakeside bar. After the break, we’ll continue deeper into the wild toward Sotira Waterfall. Once we reach the parking area, a 40–60 minute walk (round trip) takes us to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Albania. The walking difficulty is level 2 out of 5, suitable for everyone. You’ll have time to rest, take photos, or even swim in the refreshing natural pool at the base of the falls. Our journey continues to Sotira Village, where we’ll collect our packed picnic lunch and drive up to Dardha Village, located in the heart of Mount Tomorr. From an altitude of about 1300 meters, enjoy a peaceful picnic surrounded by stunning views of the mid-southern Albanian hills. Depending on the season, we’ll make a stop at Mesme Lake for photos and swimming opportunities. In the afternoon, we’ll continue our scenic offroad journey toward Berat, passing through hills filled with olive trees that cover almost the entire region. Once in Berat, we’ll spend about one hour exploring the Old Town, famous for its thousand windows and unique Ottoman architecture. After our visit, we’ll return to Tirana or Durres by evening.
