What a lovely hotel. Our room was beautifully appointed and there were excellent amenities. The ambience of the hotel is lovely and its location gives one a sense of the past from the comfort of the present. The view across the river is very special. The attention to detail in the hotel was wonderful, and the staff outstanding. The breakfast was generous. Thank you to Steve and his team for creating a great hotel. The love and care you’ve put into the space is tangible.
Beautiful small hotel (10 rooms) with the most stunning views across to Berat. We stayed 2 nights and were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony, which even though it was very hot, was extremely pleasant with the sun behind the hotel most of the day. Very comfortable bed (pillows could be a little softer), clean & modern & great air conditioning. A big shout out to the buggy that picks you up from the parking lot, which is looked after by a young lad & older gentleman, they manage the parking spaces brilliantly! Loved our stay, would highly recommend this hotel
Had an amazing time at the hotel. The staff was very accommodative of our request for early breakfast for 2 continuous days, request for another room type even when it was a bit troublesome for them. The rooms are spacious, have everything you’d need. The views are amazing too. It’s one of the best hotels in Berat and I would totally recommend it.
I had a really great stay at this hotel and honestly, it exceeded my expectations in a lot of ways. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming rather than overly formal or stiff. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially comfortable, which made a big difference after long days out. The location was also super convenient, close to everything I needed but still quiet enough to actually rest. The restaurant was another highlight good food, nice presentation, and a cozy vibe that made it easy to just sit back and enjoy the meal without feeling rushed. What really stood out to me, though, was the service. A special thank you to the receptionist, who was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. Whether it was answering questions, giving recommendations, or just greeting guests with a smile, they made the whole experience feel more personal and welcoming. Overall, this place gets a big recommendation from me. It’s one of those stays where you feel taken care of, not just accommodated. I’d definitely come back.
The best view and even better service! The Grandview Hotel is easily the best place to stay in Berat. The panoramic views of the historic quarters are unbeatable, and the rooms are spotless and charming. The real standout, however, was Steve. He is an absolute legend! He made us feel welcome from the second we walked in, gave us the best local tips for dining, and handled everything with a smile. His hospitality truly made our trip special. If you’re staying in Berat, stay here and say hi to Steve for us!
