Really nice place, the owner was so friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious and fresh. We really enjoyed our dinner and we would recommend it for homemade tastes! Here our dinner (see pictures): Mix traditional as appetiser, pasha meatballs (in a light soup), mix of grilled meat and still water. Then they offer us Grappa and the amazing mountain tea! The most traditional tea I fall in love with..really good!! As said: “Viva Albania, Viva Italia” 😉
Beautiful traditional mountain restaurant next to Gjirokaster Castle. Best way of replenishing some energy after a long uphill walk. Thank you so much Leonad amd Ashtrir for your warm welcome and friendly service. Best musaka in my life! Super hearty and generous portions! I got a Qitifi, mountain tea and raki on the house! 🙌 🙌🙏❤️🇦🇱
Lovely restaurant with views of the back of the castle! We had the traditional mix and it was great to try various of different foods on it. The owner was super nice and tried to give us some Raki but as it’s late and we were driving immediately we had to say no and he then gave us some sage tea instead! The food was super good price and quality was good! Will come back in ever in the same neighbourhood
After a long day road trip, we arrived at this wonderful restaurant! The tastes and everything were amazing and the stuff was really friendly! Cozy and warm feeling. The prices were low but the quality was perfect. They even treated us to some amazing mountain tea at the end of our meal! Next time we visit Gjirokaster we’ll definitely come back here!
The welcoming hosts and great view outshone the food. The team does at great job of making you feel at ease and valued. The elevated, glass-walled dining room offers an unbeatable view of Gjirocaster's castle and traditional houses. The cuisine here is down-to-earth and unfussy. It is enjoyable but didn't seem freshly prepared.
