WOW! This restaurant is a hidden gem! If you’re visiting Gjirokastër, you absolutely have to eat here. You’re guaranteed one of the best dining experiences you’ll have! As soon as we walked into this beautiful restaurant, we were warmly welcomed by a little boy who showed us to a table with the most stunning view. From the very first moment, the waiter made us feel incredibly welcome and even surprised us with a complimentary appetizer. It was absolutely delicious and homemade by his mother! Next, we enjoyed our starter of peppers in sour cream, which was fantastic. For our main courses, we had the chef’s pasta and the four-cheese pasta. Both dishes were unbelievably delicious. Without a doubt, this was the best meal we had during our entire trip through Albania! The dining experience was made even more special by the lovely, relaxing background music, which created a wonderful atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone, whether you’re looking for an amazing meal or a place to stay, as it’s also a hotel. You won’t be disappointed!
Exceptional food, service, and the views. Definitely a highlight of our Albania trip, felt like home away from home. This is a family owned business and it shows - everyone participates and everything is done with such love and care. Also loved that it was off the main touristy streets and appreciated some peace and quiet. Don’t miss this hidden gem, it is truly special.
I absolutely loved this restaurant! It was one of the best meals I had during my nearly 10-day trip through Albania. The restaurant is incredibly charming, the food was excellent, and the view is stunning. Antonio, the main waiter and eldest son, was exceptionally kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout my dinner. While everything was wonderful, the highlight for me was the host-busboy (maybe son#3), who helped around the restaurant with so much enthusiasm and charm. He brought a smile to everyone’s face and made the experience even more memorable. Congratulations to the whole family for creating such a special place. I highly recommend it!
The location is beautiful, the atmosphere is lovely and the view makes the experience even more special. Our waiter was friendly and exceptionally attentive. Impeccable service ! Delicious food at a fairly reasonable price compared to other places in Gjirokastër. The portions are big, so it’s also nice to share food :)
Lovely restaurant! At first we wanted to come here because of the beautiful views, but unfortunately the weather was a bit cold, so we had to sit inside. The food was on the cheaper side and very delicious! Thank you for the amazing waiter!
