The food here was super fresh and absolutely scrumptious. The staff were very attentive, smiley and helpful. I would definitely eat here again any day of the year.
Best value for money in Berat! All of the food came out quickly, was fresh and incredibly delicious! The tave kosi (lamb casserole) is fantastic, along with the stuffed eggplant. All of the workers were friendly with smiles on their faces. it's mostly a local joint but with a modern and clean interior. We came for dinner, and then back again for lunch then next day!
Nice cozy and relaxed restaurant near our hotel. Restaurants air conditioning was strong enough and the interior was modern and clean. We went around 2pm and it wasnt too busy - mostly locals. We just found a table when we went in and the staff brought us an english menu after and we ordered be flagging the staff over (not sure how locals would normally order). The gentleman who served us spoke a tiny bit of english but was able to give us his recommendations when we asked - most of which were the typical traditional dishes and we ended up ordering a few. Throughout the meal, the gentlemen who served us would ask us if we liked the food and where we were from etc. Ordered a soup, meat dish with garnish, grilled vegetables and stuffed peppers. Bread was served alongside the food. I ordered the offal soup and it was amazing! But beware that it does have quite a strong offal smell so avoid if you cant normally stand the taste. The veal steak with garnish came with cheese, sauce, fries and some salad. Big portion but the steak wasnt my favourite. It wasnt dry but it was also a bit tough for my liking though my partner enjoyed it. Stuffed peppers: large portion and lots of rice. Overall , the restaurant was super cheap (we spent less than 2000 LEK) , clean, well air conditioned and service was friendly. Not all the dishes were amazing but given the price, theres not much you can complain about.
Wow, the food here is amazing and so affordable. We have loved each and every dish that we have ordered including: moussaka, lasagna, stuffed peppers, bean soup, beef with potatoes, grilled vegetables and Tavi pule. We have been in Albania off and on since April of 2025 and we have to say that this is by far our favorite restaurant. 🥰
We had the moussaka and the chicken soup- both were absolutely delicious 😊 Comforting, full of flavor, and clearly homemade. The prices are super cheap for the quality you get. Great food and a lovely atmosphere. Would happily come back🤩
