We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everyone working here was very welcoming, friendly, and always available to help whenever needed. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well air-conditioned, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious, with a great mix of sweet and savory options, as well as fresh fruit. It felt more like a real brunch than a simple hotel breakfast. Another highlight was the view. The mountains surrounding the hotel are absolutely beautiful and create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable. We would happily recommend this hotel and would love to come back one day! 🤩
Amazing place! Everything was incredible. The staff is super kind. The rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast was delicious and very abundant, having breakfast at the terrace with that lovely view was very nice. Good location. It is around 8 minutes walking to the bazaar. Love the experience of staying there! Would go back for sure!
We had a wonderful one night stay. The host kindly parked our car for us and checked us into our room very quickly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They also showed us a handy shortcut into town, which only took around 8 minutes to walk and made getting around really convenient. The room was modern, spotless, and very comfortable, with a bed that gave us a great night’s sleep. We also chose to have dinner at the restaurant, and every dish was fresh, homemade, and full of flavour. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible views while enjoying both dinner and breakfast, they were absolutely stunning and made the experience even more memorable. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
This hotel is is right at the base of the old town in Gjirokaster. It's run by an Albanian family that converted an old ruined house into a beautiful guest house. The grounds are immaculate with an amazing view of the valley below. The driveway up to it is a bit steep but they will park your car for you for free. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They had great suggestions for things to do. The free breakfast was exceptional. You can also get lunch and dinner which are superb. We tried many of the things on the menu and they were all excellent. Many of the places we looked at in Gjirokaster had reviews that mentioned that the street noise was quite loud late into the night because of their proximity to the Old Bazaar. This place is very quiet. As it is towards the edge of the old town. The walk to the center of the Old Bazaar is maybe 10 minutes. I highly recommend this place. It's fantastic.
Great value for the price and the staff were genuinely very nice and welcoming. We stayed in the top floor attic room which had an amazing view and was very comfortable, though taller guests over 6ft might find the sloped ceilings a little awkward at times. It can be difficult as there is no lift, so you will be burning calories getting to your room and to the hotel itself! Parking was probably the most stressful part, as we had to park near a small shop kiosk and spaces were a bit difficult to manage. Other than that, a really enjoyable stay.
