Stayed here 4 nights with my family, later joined by a group of friends who stayed one night, everyone was exceptionally happy and full of praises for this family run boutique hotel! the staff was very attentive , the rooms were attended every day, the beds were super king sized and very comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, but what made it a wonderful experience was the smile on everyone’s face they made us feel like home and made us part of their family, Will definitely return here and highly recommend, A special thanks to Klinsman and Valter, 5 out of 5 guys and keep the show going!
We booked Hotel Mangalemi because of its great ratings and wonderful comments from other travelers — and it truly lived up to our expectations! Our only regret is that one day wasn’t enough to fully enjoy the stay. We arrived late and had to leave the next day, but even in that short time, we could already see why this hotel is so loved. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the castle and the beautiful “City of a Thousand Windows.” The atmosphere feels authentic and peaceful, perfectly blending with Berat’s old-town charm. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise — a buffet with plenty of delicious choices, fresh and satisfying. Overall, I would definitely rate this hotel highly for its perfect location, great breakfast, and the charm that makes you want to stay longer.
Extremely well situed hotel to discover Berat. We to enjoyed a spacious and extremely clean room with a balcony overlooking a pittoresque and quiet courtyard. The management arranged for us transport from Berat to Tirana with efficience and amicability. It felt we were in good hands.
A true example of Albanian hospitality! The hotel staff were friendly, welcoming and worked hard to take care of every need. The bellman sprinted up the stone steps with a bag in each hand and made sure to show us all the features of the room, while the manager drove our bigger bag up on a scooter, and still had time to park our car in their lot. The room was beautifully appointed with traditional woodwork, tasteful decor and handmade lace window coverings. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable especially compared to the hard bed and deflated pillows we’d experienced at the previous hotel in Tirana. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the towels were delightfully fluffy. Our room also had some of the best AC we’ve experienced in Europe, which was greatly appreciated given the warm temperatures. The hotel staff were just as eager to help at checkout. While we walked to grab a to-go coffee in town, they retrieved our bags, moved our car to the front of the hotel and put the bags in the back. We really appreciated their generous service to make everything so easy. Highly recommend a stay here!
