Myself and my partner stayed here in June 2026. Simply put it is wonderful. The rooms were great, the atmosphere struck just the right note between informality and attention to detail, and taking an amazing breakfast on the rooftop terrace was one of the best views we have ever had. One word of caution.. Driving up requires a bit of confidence and a cool head. If you feel a bit stuck ring them and one of the staff will help you out (and make it look so easy). Oh and a massive thank you to Clyde for driving us to a shop so I could get a USB cable... The guy is brilliant!
Pure serenity, incredible views, and the best hospitality in Albania If you want complete serenity away from the tourist crowds while still being minutes from the bizarre and castle, book Guest House Juald immediately. Walking into the property under a floral pergola filled with beautiful aromas sets the stage for a perfect stay. The rooms are exceptionally clean, and the beautifully prepared breakfasts on the rooftop deck are world-class. You truly do not need to leave the property for sunset—the rooftop views are spectacular, and the father is an exquisite chef who makes amazing traditional Albanian dinners. The family's responsiveness was unmatched. Clyde met me to help navigate parking and cheerfully carried my heavy bags. He is an absolute gem; he made getting around seamless and fascinating insights into local history and culture. His grandmother is also the loveliest woman. I had an unforgettable experience and cannot recommend them enough!
Beautiful rural hotel with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. Just a short, pleasant walk to the old town, making it the perfect location. The rooms are very comfortable, the staff are warm and welcoming, and the homemade breakfast with fresh local products was absolutely amazing – a real highlight of our stay!
